Birds of New Zealand

In 2016 I traveled to gorgeous New Zealand. During this trip I only encountered birds since there are no native land animals. I was forced to have a good luck at the birds but that wasn't a problem! They have some of the most interesting birds living around the islands.
The Kakapo is a giant parrot who can not fly. He is around 50 cm tall and climbs as a champion!
With his long legs the Takahe will pass you by with great spead. The colors and his beak reminds me of the dinosaurs.
From all the birds in New Zealand the best singer is for sure the Tui. You can recognise it by it beautiful neck feathers.
The Kea is famous for ruining the rubbers of the cars. I think he just likes to travel too.
